Ken Kimble - Owner                   Managing Director

An original “Jersey Boy”, Coach Ken Kimble has been involved with Memphis area lacrosse since his family moved to the Bluff City from northern New Jersey in 1988. While a student at Christian Brothers High School,  Coach Kenny was part of the first wave of high school lacrosse players in Tennessee. Along with the support of his parents, he was instrumental in establishing the lacrosse program at CBHS where he was an all-state attackman. He returned to The Brothers to serve as an assistant coach while still in college. Since then, he has been an active coach in the Memphis area, having served as head coach at Collierville High School for a few seasons and then founding and coaching the Brothers Lacrosse Club for two seasons.

Coach Kimble stepped into the world of women’s lacrosse with his eldest daughter in 2019. Since then, he has been an assistant coach with the Houston Mustangs program in Germantown, TN. In 2023, when his youngest was ready to start playing, Coach Kimble, along with one of his former players from CBHS, Michael Hudman, founded Stars 901 Lacrosse Club to serve Memphis area girls who did not have teams to join at their own schools.

Kimble and his wife, Amy, have two daughters, Davis and Erin. Kimble is the managing director of development for Youth Villages, a national non-profit dedicated to helping kids with emotional and behavioral problems live successfully.


Morgan Schenk - Director    Player and Coaching Development

Coach Morgan Schenk joined the leadership of Stars 901 Lacrosse Club in 2024 as Director of Player Development and Coaching. In this role, Coach Morgan is responsible for leading Stars 901 coaching staff and teaching the correct and important aspects of the game to players, who will be coming to the game with different skill levels from brand-new to experienced. Coach Morgan helps organize and staff clinics and special practice events as well as coordinates private lessons for players.

A native of north Georgia, Coach Morgan began playing lacrosse in middle school through high school and eventually played for one of the most successful competitive club programs in the country, The University of Georgia. She has played and coached competitive travel lacrosse for HotLanta Lacrosse Club, seeing every position on the field (except goalie)! She’s even a certified referee which is a real advantage to the development of Stars 901 players.

In addition to her leadership position with the club, Coach Morgan assists primarily with our 5/6 grade program, but you'll see her prowling the sidelines and coaching at all levels.

Professionally, Coach Morgan is the Director of Client Success for a banking software company. She and her husband reside in Germantown.


Michael Hudman - Director Head Coach 5/6

Coach Michael Hudman was the first volunteer with Stars 901 Lacrosse Club and has been in a leadership role ever since.

In his role as a Director, Coach Michael Hudman gives strategic guidance to the growth of the club, helps with recruiting players and parents, and helps provide leadership for club events and activities on and off the field. A graduate of 

Christian Brothers High School where he was an all-state attackman under the coaching  of then offensive coordinator, Stars 901 founder, Ken Kimble.  Coach Hudman went on to play competitive club lacrosse for Auburn University, where earned several accolades over his career, leading to his selection into the SELC Hall of Fame as well as the SELC 25th Anniversary team. 

In addition to his role as a Director, Coach Hudman is the head coach of Stars 901 5th and 6th grade programs as well as a coach with the Brothers Lacrosse Club.

When he's not coaching his own kids and others, Michael Hudman is an established restaurateur in Memphis and New Orleans. His experience as an entrepreneur has been invaluable to the growth of the club.
