History,Mission and Values

History

Stars 901 Lacrosse Club was founded in 2023 to serve Memphis area girls who did not have a program available to them at their school or in their communities. Partnering with Saint Agnes Academy in East Memphis, Stars 901 has drawn players from over a dozen schools, both public and private.  Stars 901 adopted the Carolina Blue and White colors of Saint Agnes as well as the name "Stars" as a nod to the school. While Stars 901 enjoyes a unique relationship with Saint Agnes, the club operates independently of the school and therefor is able to serve a wider pool of players. Commitment to the full development of indvidiual players (and not institutions) serves as the foundation of success for Stars 901 Lacrosse Club.

Mission

The club  committed to quality coaching, character development and sportsmanship. We will follow the rules and recommendations of USA Lacrosse.

FAMILY

Stars 901 strives to craft a fun and energetic base of players and fans.  We hope to develop the individual player,  not only as a valued member our team family, but as an active participant in the greater lacrosse community of Memphis and beyond.  Players learn how to cultivate relationships and communicate with a wide variety of teammates.
